TESTIMONIALS :)

There's a lot of ideas out there and business possibilities to capitalize on, but buildspace taught me that it all starts with building something that you love. Build for the sake of building.

“I loved the emphasis on following our dreams and passions regardless of our major and any prior experience we had. My most valuable takeaway is that I have the ability to create something amazing, if I follow the ideas within me and dedicate time to my passions. I can make a more meaningful difference by taking a risk and doing something out of the ordinary: whether that's content creation, having a startup, or something else.” - Anika

Before I thought that entrepreneurship is simply about getting the best idea, but after the I realized what makes successful entrepreneurs is simply their dedication and obsession with thier work. It is the perseverance and ability to consistently produce some amount of work everyday, to get closer and closer to finding more and more failures as points to find improvement is what makes entre so exciting, mysterious, and engaging to do.

I thought being surrounded by so many people working on cool and complicated projects would be intimidating but everyone was so supportive and excited to help it supercharged my desire to build! The snacks were a great plus too. - Caleb

After, I have kind of realized that the startup route is something that is totally viable, and I don't love calling things inspiring, but to see people that are in the same spot as me/were in my shoes has really made that feel like a possibility. I think my perspective is now at the point where I am realizing that 1) the time is now and 2) I am totally able to do things that have an impact outside of big companies. In other words, I feel like I've started to take a lot more real-world initiative about things that I care about, and no longer see these things as stepping stones but potential careers.

“I've learned that my capacity for creating things outside of schoolwork is huge, and that I can always make time to work on my passion project (even just 2 hours a week adds up!)”
